📚✏️ Get Ready for the 2026-27 School Year! ✏️📚

Macoupin County Public Health Department is offering School Physical & Immunization Clinics! These clinics are being held at the schools for all students who need required immunizations & physicals for the 2026-27 school year.

*Your child does NOT have to be a current MCPHD patient to receive these services.

Clinic dates:
Aug. 3 - North Mac School District
Aug. 4 - Bunker Hill School District
Aug. 6 - Southwestern School District
Aug. 11 - Northwestern School District
Aug. 31 - Gillespie School District (immunizations only)
Sept. 10 - Mt. Olive School District

Appointments are required! Call 217-839-7716 to schedule. Registration closes one week before each clinic date, and walk-ins will not be accepted.

Please bring:
• Insurance card
• Up-to-date immunization record

Don't wait until the last minute! Take advantage of this convenient opportunity to complete your child's school health requirements early and start the school year prepared.

Time for a Nutrition Tip! 🥕

Shop for foods that are in season to reduce costs and improve flavor. During the winter months, it can be difficult to find produce that is in season. Vegetables like potatoes, onions, and carrots are good choices during the cold months. As the weather warms up, look for strawberries, asparagus, and leafy greens to start tasting better! Year round, you can rely on canned and frozen fruits and vegetables to keep your plate balanced! Remember to choose canned and frozen goods that do not have any added salt or sugar.
