We have a number of lost and found clothing items currently located in the Elementary School main lobby.

A big thank you to seniors Haivyn Goelling and Mya Howard for adding some color and creativity to our hallways!

Over the last two years, we have slowly continued adding more student personalization throughout our building to help create a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

Their hard work and artistic talents have helped brighten our hallways and showcase the creativity of our students.

As the school year comes to a close, our students have been enjoying the new sensory path materials that were added throughout the elementary building! These interactive movement stations and portable “Learning Noodles” provide students with opportunities to move, refocus, and recharge throughout the school day through activities like jumping, balancing, tracing, stretching, and breathing exercises.

These quick movement breaks help support attention, self-regulation, and learning while creating engaging spaces for all students to succeed.

We are excited to continue offering opportunities like this and look forward to bringing more sensory supports and movement activities back next school year!

Carlisle Elementary Students had an exciting hands-on learning experience during the “Touch a Truck” Career Event on May 14th!

The event provided students with the opportunity to explore a variety of vehicles, equipment, and career paths while interacting with professionals from different industries. From emergency response vehicles to construction equipment and service trucks, students were able to ask questions, learn how the equipment is used, and gain insight into careers that help keep our communities running every day.

A huge thank you to all of the local businesses, organizations, and community members who participated and helped make this event such a memorable experience for our students. Opportunities like these help connect classroom learning to real-world careers and inspire students to think about their future goals.

During the month of May, our third grade students enjoyed special guest readers in their classrooms. A big thank you to SRO Czarnota and District Office Executive Assistant, Sheila Baker, for taking the time to read with our students and help foster a love of reading.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness have protected the freedoms we enjoy each day.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of the holiday and express our gratitude to those who gave everything for our nation.

On behalf of Carlisle Local Schools, we thank and remember all who served and sacrificed.
