We want to thank our staff and community for another record breaking year at the Aquatic Center!

This season, we welcomed over 12,000 admissions — that's about 164 visitors a day! We were open 75 out of 80 possible days.

We also sold 352 seasonal pool passes, covering 1,184 people total, and had 185 kids participate in swim lessons — our biggest year yet!

A huge shoutout to our top attendees this season for making the pool your summer home!

None of this would be possible without our incredible lifeguards and staff who kept everyone safe all season long. Thank you for another amazing year!

Help us wrap up the Pool Season with our pool movie night! Swimming will start at 7pm and movie at 8:30pm.

-Floaties are welcome! (please keep them reasonably sized) We also have some pool noodles available for use.
-Overhead lights will stay on during the movie for safety
-The slides will be closed during the movie
-Diving board use will be restricted during the movie
-Snacks available at the concession stand
Bring your favorite float, cozy up in the water, and enjoy Finding Nemo on the big screen. See you there!

The Aquatic Center Movie Night is being rescheduled for tomorrow (Sunday) night with swimming at 7pm and movie at 8:30pm. The Aquatic Center is closed for this evening.

The Carlisle Aquatic Center movie night is currently delayed due to weather. We are currently waiting out the weather and hopefully for an 8:45 start if the forecast holds up.

The Carlisle Parks Department recently received a trail counter from the Des Moines Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO). This counter senses pedestrians and bicycles to provide both organizations traffic counts throughout the metro. This data can help with event planning, future funding opportunities, and potential new project development.

We have a small update for Movie Night on Saturday! After a test run last night, we found we need it a little darker to start — so the movie will now begin at 8:30 PM.

We'll have popcorn, snacks, and drinks available at the concession stand, and lawn chairs are encouraged if you'd like to watch from the shore.
