The Carlisle Aquatic Center will proceed with scheduled Swim Lessons and Water Aerobics tonight. Our chemicals have returned to safe levels. We will proceed with all scheduled programming tomorrow as well. We appreciate your patience as we worked through the required safety protocols and apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused.

The Carlisle Aquatic Center will not be opening at 1pm for open swim. We have completed our disinfection period as of 11am this morning. We are now working to bring the chlorine levels back down to a safe amount for our swimmers. We are hopeful to open for 5:30 swim lessons and 6:30 water aerobics, but will provide an additional update on those once a decisions is made.

Swim lessons and Daycare swim will be cancelled tomorrow June 8th, due to a f***l incident (diarrhea) that occurred on Saturday Night. Staff is working to meet the minimum disinfection time of 28 hours of hyperchlorination. This is longer than we previous shared due to use of Chlorine stabilizer. At this time, we will not be able to dechlorinate in time to make the pool safe swimmers prior to morning programming. We will send out an update regarding open swim once the dechlorination process begins. We will make up this lesson on Friday June 12th. Sorry for the inconvenience and we appreciate your understanding.

The Carlisle Aquatic Center will be closed the rest of this evening and tomorrow Sunday June 6th due to a f***l incident (diarrhea) this evening. Disinfection protocol requires 25.5 hours of disinfection time before reopening. We will provide another update when the pool is ready to reopen. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Today marks the day we return to normal hours with Swim Lessons Beginning next Monday. Our hours will be the following until the end of swim lessons in August.
Monday: 1:00- 5:30
Tuesday: 1:00-5:30 Night Swim 6:30- 8:30
Wednesday: 1:00-5:30 Night Swim 6:30- 8:30
Thursday: 1:00-5:30 Night Swim 6:30- 8:30
Friday: 1:00-6:30 (barring swim lessons rescheduling)
Saturday: 1:00-6:30
Sunday: 1:00- 6:30

We wanted to provide a quick update on the waterslide repairs at the Carlisle Aquatic Center.

We heard back from our pump contractor and they are completing their inspection of the old pump today. Based on their schedule, they are hoping to perform the necessary repairs and install the replacement components on Thursday, June 11.

We appreciate everyone's patience as we work through this unexpected equipment failure. Our staff is doing everything possible to get the slides back up and running safely and as quickly as possible.

We'll continue to provide updates as we receive them and will let everyone know once the slides are ready to reopen.

With some rainy weather in the forecast this weekend, we wanted to share a quick reminder about our weather policy and how to stay informed about pool closures and schedule changes.

The best way to receive updates is by signing up for CivicReady Alerts and selecting Parks & Recreation. We use these alerts to notify patrons about:
-Pool closures and reopenings
-Weather-related delays
-Event updates and cancellations
-Changes to facility hours

Alerts can be sent directly to your phone, email, or both, helping you stay informed before heading to the pool.

Our weather policy is included below for reference. As always, the safety of our patrons and staff is our top priority when making weather-related decisions.

And remember—a little rain doesn't necessarily mean the pool will close! As long as conditions remain safe and lifeguards can effectively monitor the water, we look forward to seeing you at the pool.

☀️ Meet Our Pool Supervisors! ☀️

We are excited to introduce Jordan Wilmes and Ashley Jackson as part of the leadership team at the Carlisle Aquatic Center this summer!

Jordan returns for his 10th summer at the pool and brings years of experience, leadership, and a deep connection to the Carlisle community. Ashley joins the leadership team for her first summer as a Pool Supervisor and is excited to learn, grow, and help create positive experiences for families at the pool.

Our Pool Supervisors play a huge role in daily operations, staff support, guest experience, and helping ensure the pool remains a safe, welcoming, and fun place for everyone throughout the summer.

We are thankful to have both Jordan and Ashley helping lead our aquatic center team this season! Be sure to say hello when you see them at the pool this summer!
