We are hiring two people.

We have neighbors across District 87 who have already said yes, who handed me their name and their number and told me to call when I need them. What we have not had is someone whose job it is to make that call.

Two part time roles, starting now and running through Election Day.

Volunteer Coordinator: Connects volunteers with work that actually suits them, keeps our two weekly volunteer meetings running, and makes sure our canvasses, text banks, community festivals, booths, and house parties are staffed with people who are glad to be there. Evenings and weekends matter for this one. VoteBuilder and Smartsheet experience is a plus, and we will train the right person.

Campaign Operations Manager: The inbox, the calendar, donor records and follow up, contact lists, and the deadlines nobody else is watching. Helps plan and book our events too. Mostly remote, and flexible enough to work around another job.

Hours and pay depend on availability and experience.

You do not need campaign experience. If you have run a household calendar for years, that is real experience we can use. If you are retired and want to make a difference without a full-time commitment, this is intense but temporary. If you have waited tables, managed a store, taught a classroom, or wrangled a room full of kids, you already have most of what this takes.
