The Cumberland County Department of Public Safety extends our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and fire service community mourning the loss of Dale Myers, Jr, who served our agency with dedication as our Fire Training Coordinator before retirement.

While Dale’s fire‑service involvement reached many departments and organizations across Pennsylvania, his impact here in Cumberland County was especially significant. His leadership, mentorship, and commitment to developing firefighters left a lasting imprint on the men and women who trained under him and on the programs he helped build.

We are grateful for Dale’s service to our county and for the legacy he leaves within our fire‑service community. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of working alongside him.
