Tonight, Officer Doll led the second and final session of our Women’s Self-Defense Class. Participants who attended part one a few weeks ago took part in a hands-on training session where they learned practical tactics and defensive techniques.

We’d like to thank Officer Doll for providing an outstanding class, and we also want to thank everyone who signed up and participated. Keep an eye out for another class coming later this summer!

Tonight was a great way to kickoff summer break with Summer Kickoff! There was great food, great activities, Sro Hauser was in the dunk tank and CPD was thrilled to give out bike helmets to over 200 kiddos!

TOMORROW! The Carlisle Police Department’s Fiss’ Tix program will be starting tomorrow, May 27th, for the summer! While out on patrol, officers will be on the lookout for kids wearing bicycle helmets, looking both ways before crossing the street, using bicycle hand signals, or just doing something "cool". If “caught” violators will get a “ticket” for a FREE ice cream cone from Fiss’!

BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!........ Be sure to fill out the back of the ticket with the child's name, address and phone # and at the end of the summer a winner will be drawn to receive a voucher for a new bicycle!

Again, we would like to thank Fiss’ for their generosity and continued partnership of this program!

The Carlisle Police Department honors Memorial Day by remembering the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Today, we pause to reflect on their courage, their commitment, and the cost of our freedom. Happy Memorial Day!
