From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, April 30, highway crews in Nicholas County will temporarily close part of KY 1285 to dig through the highway and replace a cross drain pipe underneath at milepoint 6.14. (approximately 1000 feet south of KY 36) The road will be closed at KY 36 on the north end and at Lower Concord Road on the south end, with only local traffic permitted past those points. Message boards will be set up on each end to notify traffic. No detour will be posted, but traffic can utilize KY 57 and KY 36 to traffic during closure.
