With over 16 years of experience as a Firefighter/Paramedic, Adam Retzlaff was officially sworn in last night as Lieutenant.

Had great training with Northern Warren Fire Department this evening, one of our mutual aid partners. This training tonight was all about continual review of our Self Containing Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) air packs. It is imperative that we continue to review and be proficient with our air packs. A course was also set up using the Iowa Fire Service Training Bureau SCBA confidence trailer. Firefighters made their way through the course by following a hose line that they would do if needing to get out of a structure in a real event.
