🚧 ATTENTION GREYCLIFF SUBDIVISION RESIDENTS 🚧

Please do not remove the wooden stakes that are placed in the front yards. The contractor that is implementing the road improvement project will use those stakes to attach "No Parking" notices when they return to complete the project. 🐢 It's National Dog Day! 🐢

Today we celebrate our furry friends! Did you know they have been with us for at least 14,000 years? From keeping us safe working for the emergency services, to supporting people who are blind, deaf, or disabled, dogs do a lot for us humans. These dogs hold special places in our lives, so it is only right that we have a special day to celebrate them!

National Dog Day was first established in 2004 by pet & family lifestyle advocate Colleen Paige, in hopes of raising awareness about adopting those pups in shelters/adoption centers. Take time to appreciate the love and value that dogs bring to our daily lives, & help homeless and abused dogs.

Embrace National Dog Day as an opportunity for all dogs to live a safe, happy and abuse-free life.

* It's National Senior Citizens Day! *

8/21 is National Senior Citizens Day! It's a day to honor the seniors in your life. This special day was created to recognize the contributions of senior citizens in our society. It's a great time to show appreciation for all they have done, from their wisdom & experience to their warm smiles & kind hearts.

In addition, it's an opportunity to learn more about our history by talking with people who experienced past decades first-hand. Let’s make sure we take the time to appreciate the older generations around us!

There are many programs & resources for our senior citizens within our community & Warren County:

At Woodhill Cemetery, we are proud to present our new state-of-the-art Woodhill Columbarium. This unique memorial space is a serene sanctuary that accommodates the cremains of a family's loved one.

What is a "Columbarium"?
A columbarium is designed to house cremated remains, also known as cremains. It consists of small compartments, known as niches, where urns containing the deceased's ashes are placed. Each niche is typically sealed with a stone or metal front, which may be engraved with the deceased's name, dates, and other personal information.

What is a "Niche"?
A cremation niche is a relatively small, cube-shaped, above-ground burial space in which your loved one’s urn and the cremains are placed and stored. Just as with a traditional burial plot in a cemetery, you can visit your loved one’s cremains at their final resting place.

Purchasing a Niche
Woodhill Cemetery columbarium niches are one of the least expensive in the region. Pricing for our niches start at $550.00. The cemetery Office is open Monday-Friday from 7am-4pm. You may either contact Stephanie Hubbard at (937) 746-2852 (ext. 102) or make an appointment online on our website: https://www.franklintownshipohio.us/cemeteries

The cemetery office is located at 6228 Hamilton-Middletown Road, Franklin, Ohio 45005
