School will be back in session soon! 🚌

Let's make safety a top priority by knowing the rules of the road. Drivers need to know how a new Kentucky law (KRS 189.370) impacts what they should do if they see a bus with red flashing lights and an extended stop arm:

β€’ When this occurs on a road with more than two lanes that doesn't have a raised or unpaved median, traffic in all directions and lanes must stop.

β€’ The only exception to this law is on a four-lane or more road that includes a raised or unpaved median. In this instance, traffic opposite to the extended stop arm may proceed.

The Kentucky State Police's top priority is keeping everyone safe at school, work, home and on the road.

Update: we have received so many donations for Amanda and her family and she would like for us to say thank you for the outpouring of support.
At this time no other kitchen items or furniture are needed. Clothing and cleaning products are still appreciated.

❀️ PLEASE HELP SUPPORT OUR EMS FAMILY
Our EMS family has suffered a devastating loss. One of our own, EMT Amanda Fisher, recently lost her home and belongings in a house fire. Amanda and her family are now facing the unimaginable task of starting completely over and rebuilding their lives from scratch.
As her employer and EMS family, we are reaching out to our community, friends, family, and supporters to ask for any assistance you may be able to provide.
Amanda and her family are currently in need of:
πŸ‘• Clothing: Mostly men’s clothes sizes S/M shirts and 32/32 pants. As well as men’s size 8 shoes.
πŸ›‹οΈ Furniture
🍽️ Kitchenware & dishes
🏠 Household essentials of all kinds
At this time, they are essentially starting over and need just about everything to help make a house feel like home again.
If you are able to donate items or provide any assistance, please reach out to us. No donation is too small, and every act of kindness will mean so much to Amanda and her family during this difficult time.
πŸ™ Most importantly, we ask that you please keep Amanda and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Please pray for strength, comfort, healing, and peace as they navigate this incredibly difficult time and begin putting their lives back together.
From all of us, thank you for your kindness, generosity, prayers, and support. ❀️

Donations can be dropped off at the station or we can arrange for pick up if need be. Thank you!
