We are incredibly grateful for our friends, Marisol Negrón-Barber, Dodie and Kim from the Rotary Club of Carlisle Sunrise and Rotary Club of Carlisle for their continued generosity and support of Bethany House.

Recently, these sweet women joined us for Family Night and blessed our residents with a delicious taco bar and special graduation cupcakes to celebrate our newest high school graduate. Their kindness went far beyond providing a meal—they shared their time, encouragement, and heartfelt care with the young women we serve. They filled not only our bellies, but our hearts as well. We are so grateful for their continued love and support

The Rotary’s support this past year has been truly transformational. Through the proceeds from their holiday dinner, Rotary generously provided support for our mental health program, making it possible for our residents to access vital counseling and mental health support services.

Because of partners like Rotary, our young women are receiving the resources, support, and hope they need to heal, grow, and move toward lasting independence.

Thank you, Rotary, for believing in our mission and investing so deeply in the lives of the women we serve. Your partnership is making a lasting difference. 💙

We are so grateful for Alisha and her team at for collecting a car full of household items for Bethany House! Each box of tissues, roll of paper towels, or hygiene item supplies the girls with their needs and frees up room in our budget to offer additional assistance as it is needed!

Today, we honor Juneteenth: a celebration of freedom, resilience, and hope.

At Bethany House, we are committed to creating opportunities, supporting our community, and ensuring that every person is treated with dignity and respect.

Despite working hard toward independence, the cost of housing became too great to sustain on her own, but because of the support system she had come to know through Bethany House she knew she had somewhere to turn.

Recently we asked her how things were going since she returned and she responded, “Great… I feel like I came home.”

That is the impact of our amazing community! You help create more than housing. You help create home. You help create stability, belonging, and hope. And, we thank you for making stories like this possible. 💙

This week, our staff have been so blessed by our amazing volunteers, and we just have to brag on them.
Here are a couple things our volunteers have done this week to make our girls feel seen and special:

- Provided a ride to an appointment, and then assisted that resident with an extra errand that needed to be run. This volunteer also sent our resident home with some delicious goodies from !

- One volunteer has established a relationship with one of our residents and this resident felt the comfortability to ask her personally to take her to an interview - which she is able to do! The relationship is so important!

- In a group text about the need for some supplemental food, one volunteer quickly piped in with "She loves cookies and cream ice cream!" because everyone deserves the dignity of having things they enjoy!

- Another volunteer shared that her family is preparing to go on vacation, and that she would check her fridge for anything they can share before they leave.

- When informed of a young lady in need of extra connection time, a volunteer immediately texted her and reminded her that she is thought of and cared for.

- A new volunteer dropped off flowers to our office from her garden - this volunteer team is so kind they even care for our staff!

And the list goes on! Our volunteers are truly the best and we are deeply grateful for each one. Thank you, ladies, for your commitment to sharing of your gifts and time with our Bethany House family. You are amazing!

A Huge Thank You to Deloitte!

We are incredibly grateful to the amazing team from Deloitte who spent their Impact Day with us this past Friday!

In just a few short hours, their team accomplished so much:
🌿 Cleaned out and organized a storage area
🌿 Sealed our pergola
🌿 Weeded and mulched outdoor spaces
🌿 Painted porch posts and outdoor furniture
🌿 Painted a resident bedroom
🌿 Prepared a delicious meal for our residents

Their hard work, positive attitudes, and servant hearts made a tremendous impact on our campus and the young women we serve. Projects that might have taken us weeks to complete were finished in a single day thanks to their dedication and teamwork.

We are deeply thankful for Deloitte's investment in our mission and for choosing to spend their Impact Day serving alongside us. Your support helps us create a welcoming, safe, and beautiful environment for the young women who call Bethany House home.

Yesterday one of our residents had her first drivers training session and we loved seeing her big smile as she hopped in the driver’s seat!

We are so grateful for our friends at Drive Wright Training School for their ongoing partnership with Bethany House! Through their services, many of our girls have received hands on training and tested to get their license, which is a crucial step towards independence. Thank you for your committed care to train safe drivers, and for giving our girls the confidence that they can learn to drive and achieve their license!

We are so proud of our most recent graduate!

Celebrating graduations is one of our favorite parts of cheering on the young women we serve. Achieving a high school diploma is a challenge under uncomplicated circumstances, and even more so when barriers like housing instability are present. We are reaching out to our community on behalf of a single mother who is in need of reliable transportation. Having access to a vehicle would make a tremendous difference in her ability to get to work, attend appointments, care for her family, and continue moving toward stability and independence.

We are looking for either:
🚗 An affordable vehicle for purchase, or
❤️ A donated vehicle from someone who may have a car they are no longer using.

The vehicle does not need to be fancy—just safe, dependable, and able to get her where she needs to go.

If you have a vehicle available, know someone who does, or would like to help in another way, please send us a private message. We would be grateful for any leads or assistance.
