August is in full swing at NCPC. Here's a look at what's happened so far and what's still ahead this month.

Already underway:
Nonprofit Networking Connector (August 4) brought folks together at TailoredSpace Oceanside with the Oceanside Chamber and the Alliance for Regional Solutions. Photos from the evening are linked in the newsletter.

San Diego Gives Workshops kicked off this month with Novien Yarber's session on partnership development and collaborative strategies (August 6). The recording is available to all SDG participants.

Meet the Funders: Trust-Based Philanthropy (August 12) brought together local funders at Schulman Auditorium for a conversation on building stronger, more equitable relationships with nonprofit partners. Recap and photos coming to LinkedIn soon.

Still ahead this month:
Two more San Diego Gives Workshops round out the series: Sharyn Goodson on building organizational endowments (August 18) and Ron Mirenda on board governance (August 27).

Women in Leadership Webinar (August 31) closes out the month with a free preview panel ahead of the 2026-2027 Impact Leadership Accelerator cohort.

And registration is open now for the Impact Leadership Accelerator itself, an 8-month leadership development journey launching September 23.

Three ways to strengthen your nonprofit this fall.

Meet the Funders: Trust-Based Philanthropy is August 12, featuring Catalyst of San Diego & Imperial Counties, Prebys Foundation, and Kinship Fund on what it really means to fund with trust instead of red tape.

San Diego Gives builds toward one Day of Giving on September 17. $150, covering all staff, board, and volunteers, gets you workshops, live Q&A, and a peer community.

The Impact Leadership Accelerator ($550) develops the leaders steering those organizations. Not sure it's the right fit? See it in action first, free, at our Women in Leadership Preview Webinar on August 31, ahead of Cohort Kick-Off on September 23.

Open to all nonprofits, regardless of NCPC membership.
