Carlton Fire and Ambulance Proudly serving Carlton and surrounding communities since 1881. The Carlton Fire Department, established in 1881, proudly serves communities of Carlton County.

The fire department operates through the dedication of its volunteers. Carlton Fire Deptarment responds to approximately 500 calls annually throughout a 160 square mile immediate response area in addition to automatic dispatch for two other cities when structure fires are reported. The ambulance is staffed 24-7 with Nationally Certified EMT’s. Carlton firefighters and EMTs receive extensive traini

ng in fire suppression, technical rope rescue, swift water rescue, vehicle extrication and all medical situations. The department is complemented by a substantial fleet of state of the art emergency vehicles including a wild land fire truck, 3,000 gallon water tender, 1,250 gallon per minute fire engine, 75’ Ariel truck and two fully equipped ambulances.

Mark Your Calendars!

Please mark your calendars for October 25th! There will be a benefit held at the Cloquet VFW to help support Tyler and his family.

This will be a great opportunity for our community, friends, family, and those who know and love Tyler to come together, show their support, and help out during a difficult time.

We are so thankful for the continued love and support that has been shown to Tyler and his family. It truly means so much.

Please join us in supporting Tyler through this difficult time. Tyler currently works at Sappi Fine Paper Cloquet Mill and has been a firefighter/EMT for 11 years with the Carlton Fire & Ambulance. Tyler's dad, Jamie, is also a Navy Vet, DAV member, and VFW Post 3979 (Hebert-Kennedy) member.

The DAV is proud to host this benefit to assist Tyler and his family with the plethora of expenses and hardships related to his illness. Breakfast foods will be provided by our very own Grill Sergeants, offering made-to-order omelets.

❤️ Together, We Are Stronger ❤️

One of our own is currently facing a difficult battle with leukemia, and now more than ever, we want Tyler and his family to know that they are not fighting this alone.

Tyler is a valued member of the Carlton Fire and Ambulance family, and we are proud to stand beside him and his family every step of the way. This is a difficult road, but Tyler has an entire fire service and community behind him.
