Air quality levels are in the hazardous category again today! Poor air quality doesn't just affect your lungs, it can affect your whole body.

There are a few ways to help reduce your risk:
🌥️Move activities indoors.
🌥️Keep indoor air as clean as possible by closing windows and using quality air filters. Most central HVAC systems pull room air through return vents, condition it, and push it back out via supply vents. If your goal is to avoid drawing in outdoor air, set your system to recirculation mode so it only moves conditioned air from inside
🌥️Stay hydrated.
🌥️ Monitor for symptoms like coughing, chest tightness, or difficulty breathing.
🌥️If you must go outdoors, use a well fitted N95 mask to help filter fine smoke particles.
🌥️Check on your neighbors and loved ones!

Take extra precaution if you have asthma, COPD, heart disease, are pregnant, are over 65, or have young children.

Keep an eye on AirNow.gov or Minnesota Air Quality Index to stay in the know, and stay safe out there!
