The Carlyle Jaycees presented a $34,000 check to the Standing Tall for Ali group. The Standing Tall for Ali group supports Ali Schubel, a sixth-grader at Carlyle Junior High School who has been diagnosed with non Hodgkin’s lymphoma
The check was for the funds raised from the April 2 community-wide scavenger hunt. Funds also were raised from a silent auction and a jam session at the KC Hall.
