CN House

CN House 1866 Historic House in Carmel Indiana This house was built in 1866 by PETER DAUBENSPECK . Its walls were built of four courses of brick.

The clays dug and burned on the property. The house has five original fireplaces including original hardwood floors, windows, doors, plaster walls and radiator-based heading. The front stair rail is of black walnut. The small back stairs leads to the bedroom over the originally detached kitchen. The basement room underneath the kitchen was used as butchery and for curing meat. This house is older

than the city of Carmel Indiana and is believed to be the oldest home remain in its original design. This historic home is currently being used as a corporate house by the CourseNetworking LLC (http://www.facebook.com/CourseNetworking) serving as the guest house for its out of town CN visitors and a place for company retreats, meetings, and brainstorming.
