Storm Siren Testing will be at 10am today, September 1. Sirens are tested at 10am the first Tuesday of every month.

There will be a planned power outage on August 18, 2026 beginning at 8:30am to transfer lines to new poles. The following will be out for approximately 30 minutes: 701-707 Kerney (odd side), 304-310 Olive (even side), 525 Webb and 301 Plum.

The following will be out for 4 hours: 411 and 425 Plum, 402-414 Cora (even side), 410 and 412 Olive. The City of Carmi regrets any inconvenience.

Utility bills are due by 3pm on Monday, August 17, 2026, without late penalty. This is because the 15th falls on Saturday.

Shut off for non-payment of utility bills is August 26, 2026.

As a friendly reminder, we accept cash, check and money orders. Our upper and lower lobbies are open 7am-3pm, Monday - Friday. We also have 24 hour drop boxes located in front of and behind the building.

A BOIL ORDER HAS BEEN ISSUED: For Carmi water customers beginning at 516 Bohleber Drive to College Blvd and then south along the east side of College Blvd to 1287 – 1299 Co Rd 1125 E. This boil order will be in effect until further notice. (7/13/26)
