Get ready to dress up, step out, and SHINE because the Franklin County Senior Center & Chastain Insurance are proud to present our FIRST ANNUAL SENIOR PROM! 💃🏾🕺🏾✨

On Tuesday, our seniors rolled up their sleeves and created the famous Cole’s Sweet Corn Corn Dip! 👩🏾‍🍳👨🏼‍🍳 After letting it sit overnight and chill in the fridge, yesterday was finally taste-test time! 😋
And according to our seniors… IT WAS DELICIOUS! 🙌🏾🌽❤️ There’s nothing better than trying a new recipe together, sharing some laughs, and then getting to enjoy the finished product.

❤️ VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Make a Difference in the Life of a Senior! ❤️

The Franklin County Senior Center is looking for caring and dependable volunteers to help deliver nutritious meals to homebound seniors through our Meals on Wheels program.

Even just a few hours of your time can brighten someone's day with a warm meal, a friendly smile, and a wellness check. 💚

🚗 Current Routes Needing Volunteers:

📍 Double Branches – 1-hour route
🗓️ Thursdays & Fridays

📍 Gumlog – 2.5-hour route
🗓️ Fridays

📍 Carnesville – 2.5-hour route
🗓️ Mondays (Frozen Meals) & Wednesday (Hot Meals)

📍 Lavonia – 1.5-hour route
🗓️ Tuesdays

✅ Clean Driving Record
✅ Clean Background Check
✅ A Heart for Serving Others

Today we had the opportunity to do some shopping at Ollie’s in Toccoa and enjoy some good country eating at M&J country buffet in Toccoa. What a wonderful day it has been!
