Fireworks Reminder for Carney Residents

As we approach Independence Day, we’d like to remind everyone that there is no new fireworks resolution in place this year. Residents are expected to comply with state laws, local noise ordinances, and all applicable safety guidelines when using fireworks.

While fireworks are a long-standing holiday tradition, we encourage everyone to exercise good judgment, common sense, and respect for their neighbors while celebrating.

Please be considerate of:
• Young children, elderly residents, veterans, and pets that may be sensitive to loud noises.
• The time of day and how late celebrations continue.
• Dry conditions and potential fire hazards.
• Nearby homes, vehicles, livestock, and property.
• Cleaning up fireworks debris after your celebration.

A little courtesy goes a long way, so let’s be responsible and continue making Carney a community where neighbors look out for one another.
