HELP US KNOCK OUT HUNGER FOR THE CHILDREN!!!!!
Dear Parent/Guardian,
The Caro School’s Food Service Department is very happy to announce that we will be running our “SUNMEALS TO GO” (Meal Distribution) Summer Food Program again this summer!!
Summer meals for children and teens are available this summer from June 25, 2026 to August 6, 2026. Participating in our Summer Food Program for your family not only saves you time and money spent grocery shopping and meal prepping; it also helps support our school and community.
Summer Meals Program Details:
Meals are free for children and teens ages 18 and under.
• Online ordering form is open EVERY Sunday, starting with the first order to be placed on June 21st and the last order to be placed on July 26th, from 7:30am-6:00pm (due to high volume participation, we had to set a maximum meal count at 1200 meals. You will receive an email informing you if your order cannot be completed.)
• 5 days of breakfast and lunch meals
• Pick up will be every Thursday between 1pm-5pm at the Caro High School, look for signs. The first pickup will be on June 25th and the last pickup will be on July 30th. We will not be allowing any early or late pickups. If you are not able to come and pick up your order you can designate someone else to pick up your order as long as we have a signed slip from you. We will be providing the permission slips at the check-in tent each week if you need one.
• Please do not place multiple orders in one person’s name, if you are ordering/picking up for someone else, the order needs to be in their name. Double orders will be deleted
PLEASE DO NOT ORDER MORE THAN THE NUMBER OF CHILDREN THAT ARE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD, WE ONLY HAVE ENOUGH SPACE TO ACCOMMODATE A CERTAIN AMOUNT AND IF WE GO OVER THE NUMBER, WE WILL NEED TO CLOSE THE ORDERING FORM EARLY. Our Online Meal Order form can be accessed at Carok12.org under the Food Service tab. We are providing 5 days of breakfast and lunch meals per child, that you will need to pick up every Thursday from 1pm to 5pm.
The meals served are nutritious and follow nutrition guidelines set by the USDA.
