Tuscola County Victim Services Tuscola County Victim Services is located at the Sheriff's Office. We provide support and direct services to crime victims.

Tuscola County Victim Services provides assistance to crime victims (including but not limited to: Child and Adult Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Abuse, Hate Crimes, Assaults, Stalking, Homicide, Su***de) in the following areas:
Hospital, police agency or crime scene crisis intervention. Criminal justice advocacy and courtroom accompaniment
Assistance with personal protection orders and subs

equent violations
Information and referral
Emergency Financial Assistance
Volunteer advocates available to all agencies to assist in crisis counseling and death notifications. Crisis counseling and follow up contacts, particularly with domestic violence and sexual assault victims
Assistance in filing Crime Victim Compensation claims
Tuscola County Victim Services' office hours are from 7:00 - 5:00 M-TH and available through dispatch 24 hours. Office is located at the Tuscola County Sheriff’s Department. Phone: (989) 673-8161 ext. 8

Tuscola County Victim Services is supported by Crime Victim Assistance Grant CVA # 20587-
18V14 awarded to Tuscola County by the Michigan Crime Victim Services Commission, Michigan Department of Community Health. The grant award of $71,400 comes from the Federal Crime Victims Fund, established by the Victim of Crime Act of 1984. Tuscola County provides the required 20% match through the use of volunteers.
