Thank You, Glen Ellyn Infant Welfare Society!

We are deeply grateful to the Glen Ellyn Infant Welfare Society for their generous $4,600 grant supporting inclusion services in Glen Ellyn.

Their investment is making a meaningful difference for children and families by helping ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate, build friendships, and experience a true sense of belonging.

Inclusion services provide essential accommodations—including one-on-one support—empowering children with disabilities to fully engage in park district programs alongside their peers.

We sincerely appreciate their commitment to building a more inclusive, welcoming community for all.

✨The Rec & Roll Winfield crew rolled up their sleeves and rolled out kindness when spending some time at Phil's Friends!

They created cheerful cards for individuals going through cancer. Working in teams of two, they also decorated packages that bring comfort, joy, and hope to those who get them.

The best part? While spreading kindness to others, our group built teamwork, empathy, and saw just how powerful even the smallest acts can be. Big hearts. Big impact.

☀️Kicking off summer!

More than 200 amazing summer program staff brought incredible energy to our kickoff—celebrating the season, learning new policies, and brushing up on safety. Plus, nothing says summer like a brand-new shirt!

But beyond all the updates, what truly stood out were the moments that reminded us why we do what we do—together.

One particularly heartfelt moment… when Dan invited Tyler to say a few words, Tyler simply looked out at everyone and said, “I love you.” No script, no hesitation—just pure, genuine appreciation. It was one of those small, unexpected moments that spoke volumes about the heart of our team.

We are grateful for this great group of staff, the connections we share, and the season ahead. Let’s make it a great summer!
