Congratulations LeAnn Pierce, Lynn Barber and Jay Healy. 
Wow the election results are not what I had hoped for but it is what it is.
I’m thrilled that so many people in Carolina Beach engaged in our democratic process. It speaks well for our community that a record number of residents came out to cast a vote. I wish all the best to the new councilmembers and our new mayor. 
It is been my honor and pleasure to serve our community for the past eight years. thank you Carolina Beach!

The weather cooperated, the sun came out and the wind subsided. Thank you to all those that came and enjoyed some shrimp and community friendships new and old. Great turn out!
