Hose testing has been done for 2026 , also the cement statues have been placed down in the park below the townhall,
We will be having waterfights again this year but we have not set a date yet to be held this fall. Thank you.

Prayers go out to his family, MRFD, and to all that knew him. 

It is with great saddness that we share the news that one of our own, Firefighter Mark Craig passed away this morning after a courageous battle against cancer. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends, and there were many of them. We'll post when any services are held for him. Thank you Mark for your 42 years of membership with the Manawa Rural Fire Department. Rest easy Brother, we'll take it from here.

Congratulations!!! to firefighters, Mackenzie Malueg, Wyatt Bratz, and Nick Haring from Grant for completing and passing State Firefighter One Certification. I know they came down to the station and they studied really hard and worked at the station on things for class And also to all the students taking the class there were firefighters there from Tigerton, Waupaca Fire District, Fremont, Iola, Scandinavia, Manawa, and I’m not sure if I missed any other departments that were in the class. That started in Manawa.
They started last summer and their last day of class was today!!
We would like to thank FVTC instructor Rob Rosenau !! and all the instructors for teaching these students, they are great teachers, all of them that helped in the classroom and with hands on , helping each one of them individually, that means a lot.

Information only GOLLNOW Rd. is closed from now till sometime tomorrow we have to bring in an excavator and do road repair by the double culvert pipe it is closed in the same place between Highway 45 and Kopitzke Rd thank you
