What a Fun and Exciting Month!

We had some joint trainings, pump testing, and joint calls everyone working together as one! Without a doubt, the highlight of our month was hosting our open house at Station 1 in Carpenter. There is nothing quite like opening our doors and seeing so many faces from our community. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared a laugh, and made the day so special. We love serving this amazing community!

Shane Whitney

Shane has proudly served with the department for two years. Shane’s primary motivation for joining was—and continues to be—the opportunity to directly support and assist members of our community when they need it most.

Thank you Shane for your Service.

Safety Tip:

As we move into warmer weather it’s time to re-evaluate and practice your home fire escape plan with your family.
• It’s important to identify two ways out of every room.
• Ensure hallways, stairs, and doorways are clear for easy evacuation.
• Make sure your address numbers are visible from the street, day and night. 🏡

Stay safe Wyoming, we will be here if you need us! 🚒

On Saturday May 30 we celebrated a remarkable milestone as Steve Girmus has decided to retire after 18+ years of selfless service with Laramie County Fire District #4. Steve, you have been a pillar of strength, a reliable brother in uniform, and a true public servant. While the station won't be the same without you, you have earned every bit of this next chapter. Congratulations on your retirement and enjoy those Grandchildren!
