Village Hall Renovation: What You Need to Know

As the Village prepares for the upcoming renovation of Village Hall, several departments and services will temporarily relocate over the coming weeks.

The important part: Village services will remain available throughout the transition.

📍 September 14
The Police Department & Police Records will begin operating from 250 Carpenter Boulevard.

📍 October 19
Finance & Utility Billing, Building & Permits, Code Compliance, Business Development and other Village Hall services will begin operating from the Public Works Facility, 1075 Tamarac Drive.

To make this transition as easy as possible, we've created one place where residents can find everything they need — including temporary locations, important dates, department phone numbers, maps and directions, water billing information and renovation updates.

🇺🇸 A Path of Remembrance

For years, the display of American flags has been one of the most powerful parts of Carpentersville’s September 11 remembrance.

This year, that tradition will take on a new setting.

Hundreds of full-size American flags will line the pathways of the new Riverfront Park, creating a path our community can walk together as we remember those lost on September 11, 2001 and honor the first responders who answered the call.

Along the way, images will help tell the story of that day — offering a place to pause, reflect and help ensure that its history is carried forward to a new generation.

And as daylight fades, two beams of light will rise into the evening sky.

From reggae and R&B to hip-hop and DJs, there will be music throughout the day — including live performances from Crucial Conflict, Brian J & The Golden Street Reggae Band, Troy & Lucy, Jaliet Caprana, Taco and more.

🍂 FALL FEST IS COMING BACK!

Mark the calendar, Carpentersville — Fall Fest returns to Carpenter Park on Saturday, September 19! 🧡

Bring the kids and spend the afternoon soaking up all the fall fun with pumpkin decorating, inflatables, the barrel train, face painting, family entertainment and plenty more to explore. 🎃🚂

And while the kids are busy having the BEST day...

🛍️ Stroll and shop more than 50 local vendors in our completely sold-out Fall Fest market! From handmade goods and local businesses to unique finds and community favorites, there will be plenty to browse.

🍕 Come hungry, too! We’ll have a great lineup of food vendors serving up lunch, snacks and sweet treats throughout the afternoon.

This is one of those days made for wandering the park, letting the kids play, grabbing something delicious, doing a little shopping and simply enjoying fall together.
