Dear Carrboro Business Community,

February is For the Love of Carrboro month and this year we would like to show some love to our non-profit partners. Businesses that partner with an Orange County based non-profit for a fundraiser (i.e. portion of proceeds from a day’s sales that are donated), or an event (like a food-drive) for that non-profit, the Carrboro Economic and Community Development office will post and promote your event and business with a paid Facebook promotion($30 value) , and you will be included in a full page ad in the Chapel Hill News featuring participating businesses. The name of the promotion is “Feel the Love, Carrboro.” Let’s do this fun loving event Carrboro style! Some of you may already be doing charitable work, i.e. Fitch collects winter coats, let me know and we will promote that! It’s all good!

To participate please submit a letter or email from the non-profit you will be partnering with and describe the details of the promotion, event, etc. I will be emailing the non-profits with this promotion also, so they should be familiar. Submissions must be received by Feb. 8th in order to be included in the print ad. All promotions should be during the month of February.

Thanks for all you do to make Carrboro, Carrboro!
