Kids show up at our door ready to work, and they mean it. They pack bags. They sort food. They serve their Carrboro neighbors with care that honestly stops us every single time.

🥫 WOW — 228 pounds of food donated to TABLE! 🎉

Look at that table! Thanks to the incredible generosity of The Jester Group at Baird and everyone who participated in their Shred Day, TABLE received 228 pounds of food donations. What an amazing community effort! 💚

June is Hunger Awareness Month, and this is what community coming together to fight hunger looks like. 🌱

Last week, volunteers and staff at Twin Creeks Farm harvested 780 heads of lettuce and over 70 pounds of collards in a single day — all headed straight to families who need it most. 🥬

Fresh nutritious food doesn't appear by magic. It takes long days, muddy hands, and people who show up. A huge thank you to the morning crew (L-R) Abby, Daphne, Beth, Farmer-in-Chief Jim Sander of , Debbie, Zane, and Rio the Wonder Dog!

A huge shoutout to our incredible intern, Emma, who finished out her TABLE internship with a bang! 🎉

Emma created the "Beyond the Bag" video series, bringing amazing insight and knowledge to families & the greater community on how to prepare fresh fruits and veggies. Building healthy habits isn't as complicated as you might think, and Emma's videos break it all down so anyone can feel confident in the kitchen and start experimenting with the produce in their bag.

We are so grateful for everything you brought to this team, Emma. You truly left your mark! 🌿❤️

This spring, the TABLE team gathered at our partner farm, Faithfull Farms, for our annual strategic planning retreat. 🌱

We toured the farm and greenhouses, saw rows of fresh leafy greens that will soon nourish local kids in Orange County and shoppers at the Carrboro Farmers’ Market, and even learned about the important role roly-polies play in healthy soil ecosystems.

We also got a glimpse into the exciting future expansion plans for the farm!

A huge thank you to Farmer Howard for hosting us and for your continued partnership in helping feed local children in Orange County. We’re so grateful for all you do. 💚

This week, we had the honor of welcoming Geoff and Caroline Scott to TABLE as they delivered a truly transformational gift. 🙏

At our spring fundraiser, Geoff pledged more than half a million dollars to help feed local children, and this week, he and Caroline visited in person to make that commitment official. 🤝

Geoff has been a longtime donor, supporter, and friend of TABLE, and his care for the children and families in our community is heartfelt and steadfast. 🩵

We are deeply grateful for this extraordinary generosity and for the opportunity to celebrate this moment together. Their support brings us one step closer to our goal of serving 1,250 children this year. 🌱
