Bloom Township Fire Department

Bloom Township Fire Department Bloom Fire is comprised of 15 full time Firefighters and 20 part time Firefighters. We operate out of 2 stations that protect a primarily residential area.

Bloom Township Fire Department proudly protects 10,200 people living in an area of 45 square miles. Bloom Township Fire Department provides Fire, Rescue and Medical services to the residents of Bloom Township, Fairfield County and parts of Madison Township, Pickaway County as well as part of the City of Canal Wi******er. We are staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week with no less than 6 Firefighter/P

aramedics on duty. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. We have an ISO rating of 3 within the Village of Lithopolis and a 7 in the Township. The Bloom Township Fire Department is home to the IAFF Local 3465. We are proud to work with our volunteers and part time employees. The fire department is governed by the Bloom Township Board of Trustees.

The Fairfield County Engineer’s Office is announcing that the following road will be closed for the dates listed below:

Amanda Northern Road NW (CR 16) will be closed from Monday, July 13, 2026, through Friday, August 7, 2026. This closure will take place on Amanda Northern Road NW between Heather Lake Drive NW and Lithopolis Road NW.

Construction will take place between the addresses of 2205 and 2605 Amanda Northern Road NW.

Lithopolis Rd is currently closed between Mt Zion and Rock Mill due to downed lines.
Power crews are working to restore access as quickly as possible. Please use alternate routes and avoid the area.
