I want to sincerely thank everyone who supported me throughout the Ward 3 city council race — whether you voted for me, shared encouragement, or simply took the time to listen to ideas for our community. It’s been an honor to meet so many great people and to hear what matters most to Carroll residents.
While I didn’t come out on top this time, I’m proud of the campaign we ran and the conversations we started. Local government works best when people stay engaged, ask questions, and hold leaders accountable. Carroll’s future depends on all of us paying attention and participating — not just during election season, but all year long.
Thank you again for the opportunity to be part of this process. I’ll continue doing my part to make Carroll a great place to live, work, and raise a family. Thank you again!

I can't quite articulate why Charlie's death is so heavy on me.

Maybe it's because he was a parent, a spouse, a conservative, and a Christian just like me.

Maybe it's because he seemed so strong and vibrant.

Maybe it's because I need to know that there are good men out there fighting and I need them to be okay. I just do.

Or maybe it's all these things.

I pretty much watched his videos nearly every day. When you do that, you begin to feel a connection.

I, also, admired his courage. Courage is contagious and he was one of the ones that gave me courage to speak boldly on God, tradition, family, love of country, and morals.

Now he's gone and I don't get it, but the Good Lord has His ways and they aren't mine.

But, I hope that we can honor his life by being as bold as him, even when it feels--or really is--scary.

Maybe, just maybe, his death can be a Turning Point for the USA and those of us that value God, Family, and Country can be inspired to fight for the Good, the True, and the Beautiful.

Rest in peace, Charlie Kirk. There are many that will carry on your good work.
