Online Survey Software | Qualtrics Survey Solutions

Hey everyone, it is well known to us that Black transwomen are highly susceptible to sexually transmitted infections because few prevention programs address the structural, biomedical, and behavioral risks associated with the transgender population. Therefore, Ms. Taylor Perry-Crawford, Dr. Krista Mincey, and Dr. Arika Wadley at the Xavier University of Louisiana are working together to understand the sexual experiences of black transgender women. The purpose of the investigation is to provide sexual education, resources, and inform health organizations of the need for transgender sexual health care. Participants must be black identified trans women over the age of 18. Participants must complete a survey, an in-depth interview, and have a registered zoom account. Interested participants will be given two consent forms for the survey and interview which must be signed and returned before the beginning of the interview. In exchange for participation, participants will be compensated with a $20 Visa gift card. If interested, please contact Taylor Perry-Crawford. Spread the word!!!

Honoring Monica Roberts

We want to thank everyone who has contributed to the Monica Memorial fund. We have enough funds to cover any expenses of her service because of you and your generosity in honor of Monica. There is no need to continue to donate. We are just waiting on Dee Dee Waters to finalize the venue and arrangement. From what we are to understand COVID is making this more difficult for her to navigate. Once we know from her, we will give yall an update.

It is with great sadness that the BTAC family has received notice of the passing of Monica Roberts, our sister, aunt, and friend. We should have a well elaborated post about this, but at the moment we just need to notify the public and begin processing our grief and loss at this time. Please keep Monica's soul, friends and family in your prayers that they all may find comfort and peace at this time of separation. We love you Monica. Fly high, angel.
