West Georgia Ambulance is advancing prehospital emergency care with new evidence-based protocols for two of the most time-sensitive medical emergencies: sepsis and cardiac arrest.
Our paramedics have received specialized training on the recognition and treatment of sepsis and can begin critical treatment before patients reach the emergency department. And over the last year, enhanced cardiac arrest care has increased the number of patients whose hearts began beating again before arriving at the hospital by 119%.
These advancements reflect an ongoing commitment to bringing proven, lifesaving care to patients as quickly as possible. 🚑
