We had a wonderful time at the Georgia CASA Conference!

Our staff and a few of our incredible CASA volunteers had the opportunity to attend, connect with others from across the state, learn new ways to better serve children and families, and bring back fresh ideas and inspiration to our program.

We are so grateful for the dedication of our volunteers who continue to invest their time—not only in the children they serve, but also in continuing to learn and grow as advocates. It was an amazing opportunity to connect with the larger CASA community and be reminded that, together, we are making a difference.

🀄Mahjong for a Mission🀄

Mahjong has officially taken over Carroll County, and we’re ready to join the fun!

It’s time to put all those tiles to work for a good cause. 💙 Join Carroll County CASA for Mahjong for a Mission, a night of Mahjong, friends, and giving back as we raise funds to help recruit, train, and support volunteer advocates for children.

Every season, we train a new group of volunteers that will serve as advocates for our kids experiencing foster care. We ask them to be present with us for three hours after work hours, and we are so thankful that we have community partners that recognize the hard work these individuals put into learning how to be a voice for a child by providing a meal to them. It may seem small, but it's one less thing for our volunteers to worry about. It allows them to come prepared and fully participate in class.
