Have you gotten preregistered for the Conservation Wildlife Habitat Days (CWHD) event? If not now is the time do so.

The CWHD series will move throughout the partnered counties and showcase many different wildlife and forestry related conservation practices, that can be performed on a landowner’s property. These events will also discuss different cost-share programs that landowners may be able to utilize to help them complete these practices. If you are a landowner who is looking to improve your properties habitat for wildlife but are not sure where to begin this is the event for you!

To begin this series, Highlandtown Wildlife Area in Columbiana County will host the event on June 29, 2024. The program will run from 9am-2pm and lunch will be provided. The event will cost $15 and payment may be made to the Columbiana SWCD office in the forms of Check or Cash. These can be dropped off at the SWCD office or mailed to 1834 B South Lincoln Avenue, Salem, Ohio 44460. Please contact John Beilhart at (330)-277-2977 or by email at [email protected] with questions.
