Gov. Abbott issued an Executive Order today requiring all Texans to wear a face covering over the nose and mouth in public spaces in counties with 20 or more positive COVID-19 cases (certain restrictions/exceptions apply), effective 12:01 pm Friday. Violations will be punishable by an up to $250 fine after the second verbal or written warning.

The Governor also issued a proclamation making it mandatory that, with certain exceptions, people cannot be in groups larger than 10 and must maintain 6 feet of social distancing from others and giving mayors and county judges the ability to impose restrictions on some outdoor gatherings of over 10 people.

▪️Restaurants may remain open for dine-in service, but at a capacity not to exceed 50% of total listed indoor occupancy, effective Monday, June 29, 2020.
▪️Rafting and tubing businesses must close.
Outdoor areas such as professional sporting events, pools, water parks, and museums and libraries shall operate at no more than 50% of normal operating limits

Carrollton, TX - City Government Rosemeade Park is not usable at night. During this time of year, it is basically closed at 5:30PM due to darkness. Any other time it is dark too and not open per park hours. There is a problem with lighting not only at the park (none) but also around the Rec Center. There is no street lighting within 1 mile of the Rec/Dog Park/Park on Rosemeade. There is no lighting at the intersection of Cromwell and Rosemeade. There is no lighting on the sidewalks around the park/rec center and no street lighting going down Cromwell from Rosemeade. In summary, there is no lighting and it is very dark in the general area at night. What can be done to solve this issue?
