Absentee ballots for the August 11, 2026 Congressional Primary Election are available. There is only an election for the Republican nominee. The Democratic nominee has no opposition.
The last day to mail out a ballot is Tuesday August 4, 2026 and the last day to obtain a ballot in person is Thursday August 6, 2026.
An application is attached or can be obtained at Alabamavotes.gov or we can mail one to you. Keep in mind it normally takes two to three days at minimum for mail to get delivery.

The last day to mail out a ballot is Tuesday June 9, 2026 and the last day to obtain a ballot in person is Thursday June 11, 2026.
An application is attached or can be obtained at Alabamavotes.gov or we can mail one to you. Keep in mind it normally takes two to three days at minimum for mail to get delivery.
Also remember, if you voted Democrat on May 19, you must vote a Democrat ballot on June 16. If you voted Republican on May 19, 2026 you must vote a Republican ballot on June 16. If you did not vote on May 19, you can choose either ballot on June 16.

Again, no phone service for the Clerk’s Office this morning (Thursday May 21, 2026) and I would say none of the other offices have service either.
