About the speaker:
Patrick Duffy grew up in Maysville, Kentucky, before moving to Northern Kentucky to attend Thomas More University, where he played football and earned a degree in Biology and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. That journey led him to discover a passion for supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses, ultimately bringing him to his current role as Business Retention & Expansion Manager for the City of Covington.
In this role, Patrick works closely with business owners to ensure they not only stay in Covington, but thrive. He connects them with resources, manages the City’s Small Business Incentive Program, and keeps a pulse on the evolving needs of the local business. Since 2017, the program has supported more than 170 businesses with rent assistance and façade improvements, strengthening Covington’s reputation as a city that invests in small business. Someday Patrick hopes to run his own business.
