Join Shelton State Continuing Education for "Becoming a Babysitter Camp" October 12-13 to learn essential babysitting skills, safety practices, and earn a CPR certification! Open to teens 13+.

Cost: $105 per person. Registration includes CPR certification and a take-home babysitting goodie bag to help kickstart your babysitting journey.

We are grateful for Ms. Dolly and the many children lives that she impacted at Pickens County Community Action Head Start through her literacy program! 📚 Many of our children received free books for years because she believed in the power of reading. Also, many of our children’s first books were donated from Dolly’s program.

Dolly Parton’s impact on children and early childhood education has been truly special.

After reading so many of her articles, growing up in poverty herself, Dolly understood how powerful opportunity and education can be.

Through her generosity and the Imagination Library, she helped put books into the hands of millions of children, supporting the same belief at the heart of Head Start: every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, dream, and succeed.

What a beautiful legacy of giving children a Head Start in life. ❤️
