👨‍🚒🚒CONGRATULATIONS 🚒👨‍🚒

Today Firefighter Harold Albert was promoted to the rank of Engineer‼️

Engineer Albert has been with the department for 3 years, in which he has shown a strong focus and dedication to learn and grow within the fire service. Since day one, he has shown the ability to learn quickly and fit in where needed. He has completed 100’s of hours of training, and continues to strive to learn more. We are excited to see him excel and eager to see him in his new rank and new responsibilities‼️

Engineer Albert will now serve the department and community as a Apparatus Driver/Operator and fill in for the Officer when not on duty. He will be assigned to Engine 21 on C shift.

Today, Firefighter Cody Bennett was promoted to the rank of Engineer‼️

Engineer Bennett has been with Carrollton for 3 years, where he has been eager and dedicated to success. He has taken many classes and been involved in 100’s of hours of training. His dedication to the mission and the citizens, has allowed him to excel quickly in the fire service. We are excited to see his continued efforts in a new role with new responsibilities💯

Engineer Bennett will now serve the citizens of Carrollton as an Apparatus Driver/operator, and will fill in as an Officer when the Officer is not on duty.

❗️ATTENTION ❗️

SUNDAY - Centennial Drive will be shut down 11:45 - 1:30.

On Sunday, any First Responder who wants to join us in Officer Krish’s funeral procession needs to be at Hightower Funeral Home in Carrollton NO LATER than 12:45. You will need to come in at Station 23 (300 Centennial Dr…..corner of Centennial and Central High Rd). We will leave the funeral home for Midway at 1:30.

Also, please note, the trip to Buford (burial) will be very small - for family and a few from CPD only. Thank you for understanding. 🫶

If you’d like to pay your respects, here’s the es**rt route:

-I-20 to Hwy61 in Villa Rica
-Hwy 61 to 166 Bypass (turning left at Longhorn) .
-Turning left onto Blandenburg and right onto Centennial Drive and into Hightower Funeral Home

Should arrive in Carrollton around 2pm (give or take)

OFFICER DUSTIN KRISH’S ARRANGEMENTS 🕊️

The family will receive friends during a visitation on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Martin & Hightower Funeral Home, in Carrollton.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 2:30 PM at Midway Church. ⛪️

Following the service, Officer Krish will be laid to rest at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford, Georgia.

He is healed and home with Jesus. While we are heartbroken on earth, what a celebration Dustin is having in Heaven.

Chief Richards put it best…..Dustin was the best of us. He was unwavering in his duty, courageous, and faithful until the end.

Please, please continue to pray for the love of his life, Emily, Sgt. Chad Krish (his brother), and his entire family…..blood and blue. 💙
