OK folks the next round of storms that have been forecasted are approximately 2 to 3 hours out. The best chance for our area is from 8 P.M. to 4 A.M. All threats are on the table. Heavy rain, damaging straight line winds and spin up tornadoes are all possible. Use the next few hours to prep and secure all loose objects on your patios in porch. Have your or cell phones charged along with any other backup charging device, batteries in your flashlights and generators ready if you have one. City officials will be monitoring the weather throughout this event and passing along any pertinent information.

Check out our newest and coolest addition to Point Park. This was a joint project between the city of Carrollton and Carroll County high school students, Marissa Vega and Stella Skirvin, as part of their capstone project for project based learning. Special thank you to Stevie Mefford who is board certified behavior analyst in which these students consulted. Thank you Jeff Fremin who oversees this program at the high school. Last but not least thank you to Carrollton public works for fabricating the frame and the installation.
