The Company operates the world's largest fleet of more than 110 medically-equipped Bell 206 Long Ranger helicopters, along with Bell 407 helicopters.

Air Evac EMS, Inc., which operates Air Evac Lifeteam, is the largest independently owned and operated membership-supported air medical service in the United States, conducting its operations through 109 mutually-supporting air medical bases across 15 states. The company has established itself as the preeminent provider of air ambulance services to rural markets, serving over 1,700 diverse referral

sources, including over 1,000 hospitals and 700 EMS agencies, and attracting more than 1 million members in support of its presence in their local communities. Air Evac Lifeteam also offers fixed-wing air medical services from two bases in Missouri and Kentucky. The current service area includes operations in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas and West Virginia, with the company being the largest air ambulance provider in 8 of its 15 states. In 2008, Air Evac Lifeteam was accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems, and is the largest medical transport program under one name to achieve this accreditation. This week, we had the honor of celebrating our Program Manager, Jason McCain, on an incredible milestone—20 years of dedicated service with Air Evac LifeTeam.

For the past two decades, Jason has been a mentor and steadfast advocate for our crew, our patients, and the communities we proudly serve. His commitment, integrity, and passion for this profession have left a lasting impact not only on our base, but across the company and the countless lives he has touched throughout his career.

At AEL 112, we’re more than just coworkers—we’re family. Jason has helped build that family through his leadership, support, and unwavering dedication to those around him.

Jason, thank you for your 20 years of hard work, sacrifice, and commitment. We are so proud of all you’ve accomplished, grateful for everything you continue to do, and honored to celebrate this milestone with you.

Today is aviation maintenance technician day! Our base mechanic Kevin Stephens is like no other! Happy AMT day Kevin, you truly are the best and 112 is so very proud of you and lucky to have you.

Today we had our annual EMS week cookout at the base. We had the privilege to cook, eat and fellowship with our partners West Georgia Ambulance, Carrollton Fire and Carroll County Fire and Rescue and delivered food to our partners that couldn’t make it by the base to eat. We are so thankful to serve West Georgia and East Alabama!
