JOIN US this Saturday, August 8, for the public debut of the replica 1871 Liberty Seated half dollar commemorative medallion! This handsome one-half troy ounce of .999 fine silver follows the highly successful replica 1870 Liberty Seated half-dollar medallion. Like the 1870 before it, the 1871 medallion will be struck on the indefatigable Coin Press No. 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting tomorrow and each Saturday through August. Cost is $150 for this limited edition of only 3,000 strikes, each bearing the famous CC mint mark. Admission is $10 for adults and free to members and children 17 and under. IT'S ON!!! Coin Press No. 1 is tanned, rested and ready for the America 250 celebration this Fourth of July weekend!! Beginning Friday, July 3, and continuing Saturday, July 4, our rockstar artifact will be minting the America 250 commemorative medallion, a one-half troy ounce of .999 fine silver featuring Nevada's America 250 logo on the obverse and the Nevada state flag Battle Born emblem on the reverse. The famous CC mint mark will be on there, too! The collectible will be secured in a protective case and mounted on decorative America 250 matting that's individually numbered!! That's right: The America 250 commemorative medallion will be a limited edition of only 2,026 pressings, so get yours this weekend! Planchet voucher sales begin at 11 a.m. Friday and Saturday. The press will be running from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both days. There is a strict limit of three medallions per customer this weekend. Cost is $200 for this once-in-a-lifetime collectible specially minted on the indefatigable Coin Press No. 1 and bearing the highly sought after CC mint mark!
