The Stamp Out Hunger food drive day is held annually on the second Saturday of May. This nationwide food drive is organized by the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) and the United States Postal Service (USPS). Letter carriers collect non-perishable food donations from residents on their routes and deliver them to local food banks and pantries. To donate, just place a box or can of non-perishable food next to your mailbox before your letter carrier delivers mail today. It's a great and easy way to give back in your local community!

Washoe County (CSA Reno), Churchill County (Churchill County Social Services), Douglas County (Douglas County Social Services), Humboldt County (Frontier CAA), Lincoln County (Lincoln County Community Services), White Pine County (White Pine Social Services), Mineral County (Consolidated Agencies of Human Services) and Community Chest all offer programs and assistance for families with children.
