The best time to water lawns and outdoor plants is before 10 a.m. or after 6 p.m. Avoid watering your plants between 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. because that's the hottest part of the day and water evaporates quickly.

From June 27 - July 2, paving operations move into the next phase:
❌ William Street will be fully closed to both eastbound and westbound traffic between Carson Street and Roop Street.
❌ All connecting side streets will be closed at William Street.
âś… Carson Street and Roop Street intersections will remain open.

Please plan ahead and follow posted detour routes. Businesses are open and need your support!

At the end of the shift on July 2, William Street and the intersections will reopen for the holiday weekend. Work will resume July 6.

Traffic impacts include:

âś… Stewart Street will remain open to northbound and southbound traffic through the William Street intersection.
❌ All other connecting side streets will be closed at William Street.

Paving operations on East William Street between Carson Street and Roop Street begin Saturday, June 20 and continue through Friday, July 10.

Traffic patterns will change throughout the project:

📅 June 20–26
• William St. closed between Carson St. and Roop St.
• Stewart St. remains open through the William St. intersection
• Other side streets closed at William St.
• Carson St. and Roop St. intersections remain open

📅 June 27–July 2
• William St. remains closed between Carson St. and Roop St.
• All connecting north-south side streets closed
• Carson St. and Roop St. intersections remain open

📅 July 6–10
• Carson St./William St. and Roop St./William St. intersections fully closed
• Mills Park remains open and accessible

🇺🇸 No construction work will occur during the Independence Day holiday.

Please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and follow posted traffic control signage. Access to businesses and residences will be maintained throughout construction.
