The Nevada Office of Emergency Management/Homeland Security coordinates the efforts of the State, its political subdivisions, private and volunteer organizations and tribal nations in reducing the impact of disasters by planning, developing, implementing and maintaining programs for mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery.

State Route 446 is now open.

State Route 445 remains closed between Axe Handle Canyon Road and State Route 446.

Update 5:47 p.m.: The road is now open in both directions.

π—₯𝗒𝗔𝗗 π—–π—Ÿπ—’π—¦π—¨π—₯π—˜: Fish Springs Road is closed at Jo Lane in Gardnerville due to a mudslide.

Douglas County crews are on scene assessing the situation. Please avoid the area and use an alternate route until the roadway is reopened.

Use caution and give crews room to work.
