LOVE HEALS FREE CLINIC COMES TO CARSON AND is seeking volunteers to assist the Carson City Senior Center in tproviding professional medical, dental, and vision services at no cost to underserved individuals and communities. to bridge the gap in medical, dental, vision servies .

The community need is there, but can only be met through volunteerism. See flyer below. If you can sparsome time to help
in any way, call the senior center.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS NEEDED. General volunteers needed for non-professional work.
Setup: Friday, September 18, 10am to 5pm
Volunteer Meeting: Friday, September 18, 5:30pm
Clinic Date : Saturday, September 19, 8am to 6pm
Teardown: Sunday, September 19, 10am
Location: Carson City Community Center Gymnasium, 851 E. William Street

This international sensation is selling heavily, with multiple performances nearing sellouts. To accommodate the extraordinary demand, WNMTC has added a Thursday evening performance on November 19 at 7 p.m. Since it has just been added, fabulous seats are currently available for that show!

The show will now play in 10 performances at the Carson City Community Center, November 6-22.

We strongly advise that you buy your tickets early as this blockbuster will sell out!

It's always bittersweel when school begins. Today was the first day of classes for the school year of 2026/27
As one of the city's largest employeres, there asre nearly 1,000 full and part-time employees. Approximately 6,900 to 7,400 students started the school year today in the Carson City School District. Official first-day attendance numbers are not finalized immediately by the district. Total enrollment generally fluctuates around this range across the 13 local schools.
We wish our great students a wonderful year of learning and growing.

It was a great 50th Anniversary celebration at the Carson City Senior Center this past Saturday. The place was packed with active seniors joiinin in on the celebration and toasting their sparkling apple cider toast to years past, the current day,and the future. There were a number of VIP's joining director Courtney Warner. Kudos were given to Kiwanis. Assemblyman PK O'Neill presented a state recogniton and Mayor Lori Bagwell presided over the toast.
