The NVSOS is reporting continued voter list maintenance ahead of the 2026 election cycle. In the Spring of 2026, counties updated 14,164 voter records, designated 119,533 voters inactive and canceled 7,583 voter registrations.

“State and local election officials are working hard to prepare voters for the upcoming June Primary, and keeping Nevada’s voter rolls up to date is a critical part of that process. Voters can support their local officials’ work by checking and updating their registration information on VOTE.NV.gov,” said Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar.

Make your plan to vote today! 2026 Primary Election polling locations are available, with new interactive maps that can help voters find their location.

Did you know? Nevada conducts a closed primary election. This means voters may only participate in the primary election for the political party in which they are currently registered. Voters registered as nonpartisan or with a minor party may not vote in a major party primary unless they choose to affiliate with that party.

Voters who wish to change their party affiliation may do so online at VOTE.NV.gov or in person during early voting or on Election Day at a polling location. More info: https://www.nvsos.gov/Home/Components/News/News/3742/23
