Rural Center for Independent Living Inc. RCIL is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. RCIL was established in 1998 as a center for independent living, run by people with all types of disabilities.

RCIL provides advocacy, information and referral, independent living skills, peer support and transition. Our service area includes; Carson City, Lyon County, Storey County, Douglas County and rural communities of Nevada. RCIL assists with filling out paper work for city, state and federal services, finding stable housing, Social Security Benefits, and ADA information, access and advocacy. Walk-in
