You heard it right. Emmie Nelson Library in Euharlee will be open 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Saturdays starting September 5th. And, it get's better! We're hosting events on weekends too, like an Art Class for Teens and Adults with Support Needs.

Saturday, September 19, from 10:15 - 11:15.
Explore art in an inclusive environment that welcomes all abilities.
We appreciate the presence of caretakers as some activities may require hands-on-help.

We had a blast last Monday, the 24th, at Homeschool Hangout at CVL! We made cork boats and rafts and then designed the best and fastest ones we could. Thank you to everyone for coming to the program! Signups for the September program will start on September 4th. We will be making parachutes! See you at the library!

Is your house haunted by costumes of Halloweens past?👻Are you spooked by the thought of dragging yourself into a big box store to buy yet another one for Halloween 2026? Never fear! We’re having a Halloween Costume Swap! Starting on September 1st, drop your gently used Halloween costumes off at the Cartersville Library. We’ll take costumes for all ages from infants to adults. You can drop off costumes from September 1st to October 10th.

On October 10ᵗʰ, we’ll have all of the donated costumes on display for you to “shop” and take home. No donation is required to "shop" — all items will be free!

Costume Swap (Session 1): 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Costume Swap (Session 2): 3 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Are you a craft lover but can't seem to pick up your hobby at home? Or, do you craft everyday but want a change in scenery and company? Craft & chat at the library!

Bring in your own creation to work on while we listen to music and socialize. Or, try something new with one of the craft kits provided. Drop in anytime between 5:00 - 6:45 PM.
