The Cartersville Public Library and the Etowah Valley Historical Society were pleased to present the second installment of the America250 Lecture Series. After a reception hosted by EVHS, attendees enjoyed a lecture by EVHS member Mary Norton focusing on the Alphabet Collins project and the Georgia Institute of Genetics, whose research played a key role in advancing agricultural practices across Georgia.
